The project Stop abortion. In defence of Life! is devoted to the acute problem of the abortion in Russia. It was created in Karelia in the middle of 2006 year with the support of Karelian Regional Public Youth Organization “Equilibrium”: http://www.sirotinka.ru/

The mission of the project is to engage social attention to the discussion of ethic and lawful aspects in modern practice of abortion and the majority demography safety questions in our country. There are a lot of published scientific medical announcements and personal illustrations of those people, who had experienced an abortion. More than that thematic news covers current events in Russia and in the whole world. 

Our position

Every day thousands of “undesirable” children in Russia become the victims of mortal conveyor in fetus wastage. Uninterrupted industry claim millions of lives every year. Can we stop this awful epidemic? We are sure that we can.

Many men and women, who somehow participate in the abortion, can’t imagine how terrible this action is and although they don’t know the whole truth about the consequences. Often the realization comes later and it curses physical and moral suffering. In connection whit it the main purpose of our project is to give authentic information about abortions and to warn future parents from irreversible actions appealing them to protect children’s lives.

Numerous scientific articles and outspoken letters, which are published on this site is the evidence of that fact that in woman’s belly from the moment of conception there is a human being, her child! It is a priceless gift, which nobody can attempt on, all the more – parents.

It is not our purpose – to blame those women who is going to make an abortion or who have already done it. More than that we are not arguing against immediate prohibition of abortions. Currently, the beginning of open discussion in the society – is really reachable aim.

It is necessary to declare scientific and medical facts, which are connected with this phenomenon to make people form their own independent opinion. In this case the experience of western countries is significant. Under pressure of community the practice of abortion is forbidden or noticeably limited by the politic of the State. It is the next step for our society to get rid of this illness.

However, many people step forward to the protection of life and say “NO!” to the abortions. In the context of the project  “Stop abortion” we open termless voting “Russia against abortions”, where everyone can testify their own protest against unlimited spreading of abortions in our country.
